HOUSTON MAN ARRESTED ON MARIJUANA CHARGES

  

A Houston man was arrested Tuesday on Marijuana charges.

Brenham Police report that Tuesday morning at 9:15, Corporal Ha conducted a traffic stop in the 3000 block of Highway 290 East for an equipment violation. During his contact with the driver, Nahom Abdela Alabdeil, 18 of Houston, he could smell the odor of burnt marijuana emitting from the vehicle. A probable cause search was conducted, and marijuana was located. Alabdeil was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. and transported to the Washington County Jail.
