BRENHAM BUSINESSMAN PIEPER PASSES AWAY
A longtime Brenham businessman died unexpectedly over the weekend.
Lloyd Pieper passed away surrounded by family members at his deer lease in Trinity on Saturday night. He was 76 years old.
Pieper and his wife, Diane, owned and operated Moeller Electric Company in Brenham for over 50 years.
They had just recently sold the business to another local couple, Mitchell and Aubrey Davis.
Pieper was also very involved with the Brenham Fire Department as a volunteer, and then later as Assistant Chief.
Pieper’s survivors include his wife, Diane, son Matthew and wife Amy, as well as daughter Melanie and husband Donny.
The visitation will be Thursday from 4-6pm at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
The funeral is going to be Friday at 10am at Salem Lutheran Church.
