BRENHAM CUBS WIN TWO AT THE WEST OSO TOURNAMENT

The Brenham Cub Basketball Team opened up the West Oso Tournament with a pair of wins yesterday (Tuesday).
The Cubs beat Midway 52-35 in the opener.
Shaun Ray led the way with 16 points, while Josiah Ferguson added 13 points, and Jamey Rogers finished with 10 points.
In the second game of the day, Brenham defeated West Oso 73-29.
The Cubs scored 29 points in the first quarter, and never looked backed. Shaun Ray scored 16 of his team high 23 points in that first quarter.

Josiah Ferguson had a big game as well with 21 points.
Isaac Powell and Elijah Ferguson finished with 10 points each.
The wins improve Brenham to 11-7 on the season.
The tournament continues today (Wednesday) as the Cubs face San Antonio East Central at 4:30pm.
