COUNTY HOLDS RETIREMENT PARTY WEDNESDAY

The County will be losing 99 years of experience this week.  A retirement party was held Wednesday at the Courthouse Annex building for four County employees who are retiring this week. They are Justice of the Peace Bill Kendall with 8 years on the bench as the Precinct 4 JP, Lynn Mitchell who served as the District Court Coordinator from 2002 to 2022, Joy Fuchs who served as the Precinct 4 County Commissioner for 24 years, and Sharon Stolz who served in the Washington County Auditor's Office for 47 years.  The retirees were each awarded a cutting board engraved with their years of service by County Judge John Durrenberger.  The party was a come and go affair and was attended by family, friends, and county employees.
