WILSON TO SPEAK AT CUBETTE SOFTBALL BANQUET
The 2005 State Championship Team will be honored at this year’s Brenham Cubette Softball Ribeye Dinner and Auction.
Current Texas Lutheran University Head Softball Coach Wade Wilson, who was the head coach of that Cubette State Championship Team, will be the guest speaker for the fifth annual event.
Wilson was the Brenham Head Softball Coach from 2003 to 2011. In 2005, he was named as the Associated Press Coach of the Year. The Cubettes were also ranked in the Top 10 in each of his nine seasons at the helm.
The doors open at 5:30pm, with the dinner to follow at 6:30pm.
Individual tickets are $25 each, and can be purchased from Coach Katie Roberts or any Cubette Softball player. They also have tables of eight available for $500.
The Ribeye Dinner and Auction will be held next Saturday, January 7, at the Washington County Event Center.
