FOUR CUBS SIGN LETTERS OF INTENT WITH BLINN
Due to the weather, their signing day may have been pushed back a day, but it didn’t damper their enthusiasm, as four senior members of the Brenham Cub Football Team made their future plans known.
Before an audience of family and friends, DT Quenton Graves, LB Ricky Brown, CB Savion Ragston, and OT Eric Aschenbeck signed letters of intent to play for the Blinn Buccaneers this fall.
Coach Danny Youngs talked about the importance of Signing Day.
Brown led the Cub defense with 96 tackles this past season.
Graves was third on the team with 60 tackles.
Ragston led the team with six interceptions.
Aschenbeck was a key member of the offensive line that helped QB Rylan Wooten become the first quarterback in Cub history to rush for over 1,000 yards and throw for over 2,000 yards in the same season.
Coach Youngs discussed what these four bring to the table when they get to Blinn.
All four players were First Team All-District selections, and key components for a Cubs team that finished as District Runners-up, and made it to the Region Semifinals of the playoffs.
