FINAL FOODWAYS TASTING EVENT THURSDAY AT BRENHAM HERITAGE MUSEUM

  

The Brenham Heritage Museum is wrapping up its inaugural temporary exhibit covering food in Washington County.

The last Washington County Foodways tasting will take place at the museum Thursday at 6 p.m. 

The tasting event will focus on African American cuisine in honor of African American Heritage Month, featuring authentic food from hometown recipes.

The Foodways food partners for this final tasting are LA Chicken Shack and Wild Flour Bakeshop.  Sponsors are BRIANNAS Fine Salad Dressings and Texas Humanities.

Tickets are $40 for museum members and $55 for non-members.

Tickets can be purchased at the museum at 105 South Market Street between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.  They are also available online at www.brenhamheritagemuseum.org.
