Brenham. Rev. Wells is launching an international
book tour to celebrate the book's release.
Reverend Randy Wells of Brenham has authored a new book and invites the community to celebrate its release as part of an international book tour and college lecture series.
The Fortnightly Club of Brenham will host a book signing today (Tuesday) from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library for Rev. Wells’ “Few Fathers – 6 Principles for Training Boys to Become Men”. The book signing is part of the Fortnightly Club's celebration of the 122nd birthday of the library.
Rev. Wells says his second book discusses fatherless homes as a threat to the American family and shares his personal testimony of how after the passing of his father when he was a child, other men in the community stepped up to support him.
The book also includes words from men who have been mentored by Rev. Wells and talk about the impact he has had on them.
In addition to Brenham, the book tour will travel to San Antonio, Houston, Katy, Arlington and Dallas. Out-of-state stops planned are New Orleans and LaPlace, Louisiana; San Diego and Los Angeles, California; Freeport Bahamas; Miami and Boca Raton, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; and Chicago, Illinois.
Copies of the book will be donated to foreign missions, students at Blinn College and Prairie View A&M University, and the Washington County Jail.
