FOUR PEOPLE SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT
Four people pled guilty and were sentenced by Judge Reva Towslee Corbett in District Court this week.
Amare Hill, 25 of Ft. Worth, had his probation revoked and was sentenced to 2 year in state jail for a 2017 offence of Theft of a Firearm. He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine.
Tenisha Lashar Lindsey, 31 of Huffman, Texas, was sentenced to 5 years deferred adjudication probation for Attempted Possession of Controlled Substance. She was also ordered to pay a $500 fine, $180 in restitution, and perform 200 hours of community service.
Flavio Rolando Ruiz, II, 41of Humble, Texas, was sentenced to 6 years deferred adjudication probation for 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was also sentenced to 202 days in the Washington County Jail, a $1500 fine, and perform 200 hours of community service.
Mark Gregory Joswiak, 58 of Brenham, was sentenced to 18 months deferred adjudication probation for making a Terroristic Threat Against a Peace Officer. He was also ordered to perform 150 hours community service.
