BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED ON DWI CHARGES

  

A Brenham man was arrested early Sunday morning on DWI charges.

Brenham Police report that early Sunday morning at 2:30, Officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Highway 290 East in reference to a disturbance between two subjects possibly involved in a crash. During the crash investigation, one of the drivers involved in the crash exhibited signs of being intoxicated and standardized field sobriety tests were administered. Due to his performance, the driver, Christopher Glenn Helmer, 25 of Brenham, was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated.
