STATE CHAMPIONSHIP ’42’ DOMINO TOURNAMENT MARCH 3-4 IN HALLETTSVILLE
Domino players from all around will head to Hallettsville next weekend for the Texas State Championship “42” Domino Tournament.
The Hallettsville Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture is hosting the tournament on Friday, March 3rd and Saturday, March 4th.
Teams can participate in a warm-up game on Friday and enjoy fried fish from 5 to 7 p.m. The tournament will take place all day Saturday, with qualifying rounds from 8:15 a.m. to noon followed by championship and consolation play from 1 to 9 p.m. The finals will be held after that, with trophies and cash prizes to be awarded.
Coffee and kolaches will be served for breakfast on Saturday, and for lunch there will be chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, green beans and dessert. Drinks and snacks will also be available for purchase.
Entry is $40 per team in Saturday’s tournament, $20 per team for the Friday warm-up. After this Friday, February 24th, team registration increases to $50 for the tournament and $30 for the warm-up. Meal tickets are $12.
