BRENHAM SCHOOL BOARD TO HOLD CANDIDATE ORIENTATION WORKSHOP
The Brenham School Board will meet for a workshop on Tuesday.
The workshop will serve as an orientation to familiarize school board candidates with school procedures, budgets and law.
Each of the four board seats up for election on May 6th are contested.
Bonnie Brinkmeyer will face James Franke for Position One, the seat formerly held by Mark Schneider.
Position Two incumbent Dr. Michael Altman is running against Archer Archer.
Position Three will have Kyle Hafner and Artis Edwards Sr. seeking the spot held by Susan Jenkins, who is not running for another term.
Kelvin Raven is vying for re-election as Position Four trustee against challenger David Jantzi.
Public comments will be taken before the workshop.
The board will meet Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in rooms 111 and 113 at Brenham High School.
