LA GRANGE HIRES NEW HEAD FOOTBALL COACH AND ATHLETIC DIRECTOR
La Grange ISD has hired Ponder High School Head Football Coach Kyle Cooper to be their new Head Football Coach and Athletic Director.
Cooper takes the place of Matt Kates, who resigned in January after 13 seasons at the helm of the Leopards.
Cooper has been a head coach for 14 years. He spent 12 years at Gatesville High School, and the past two years at Ponder High School.
His best season was leading Gatesville to a 13-1 season in 2012.
