HEMPSTEAD MAN ARRESTED FOR SHOPLIFTING

  

A Hempstead man was arrested Tuesday for shoplifting.

Brenham Police report that Tuesday afternoon at 2:25, Officers responded to a business located in the 200 block of Highway 290 West in reference to shoplifting. The suspect was reported to have exited the store with two televisions and other smaller items totaling over $400. The suspect, Michael Jarod Hubbard, 32 of Hempstead, was taken into custody for Theft of Property. During the arrest, he was discovered to be in possession of narcotics and was additionally charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.
