BLUEBONNET MASTER GARDENER PLANT SALE APRIL 8 IN SEALY

Anyone looking to spruce up their spring gardens can head to the Bluebonnet Master Gardener Association’s Annual Plant Sale in Sealy.

The sale will take place on Saturday, April 8th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or until sold out, at the Sealy Historical Park.

Visitors can expect to see a wide variety of plants available for purchase, including Easter Lilies, colorful flowers for Easter, roses, “Texas Superstar” and “Texas Native” plants, succulents, pollinators, herbs, fruit and citrus trees, and berries.

There will also be gardening tools and worm compost, demonstrations on square foot gardening and rainwater harvesting, and a Kids’ Corner where they can plant seeds and microgreens or build mason bee houses.

All plants are locally sourced to ensure they are acclimatized for this area.

Master Gardeners will be on hand to help customers find the best plant for them and provide instructions for care.

Proceeds from the sale help the Bluebonnet Master Gardeners support Austin, Colorado, Fayette and Washington counties with scholarships for graduating seniors, community gardens and other programs and activities.
