BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED AFTER DISTURBANCE CALL

  

A Brenham man was arrested Wednesday after a disturbance call was made.

Brenham Police report that Wednesday afternoon at 2:15, Officers were dispatched to an address located in the 2400 block of South Chappell Hill in reference to a domestic disturbance. One of the persons involved failed to identify himself to officers by giving a false name. During the attempt to place the person into custody, he resisted arrest and became aggressive towards officers. The arrestee damaged a patrol vehicle while attempting to be placed inside for transport. The subject was positively identified as Darshawn Cortrail Veal, 25 of Brenham, and was charged with Assault Public Servant, Criminal Mischief, Failure to Identify, and Resisting Arrest, Search, or Transport.
