BRENHAM PLANNING & ZONING APPROVES RESIDENTIAL REPLATS

The Brenham Planning and Zoning Commission signed off on two residential replat requests at its meeting Monday.

Commissioners approved the replatting of six lots across 2.28 acres at 703 South Market Street, 303 Pecan Street, 307 Pecan Street and 702/704 Clinton Street.  The replat allows for the reconfiguring of six lots into five for further residential development or sale.

The second replat is for a property with a single-family home and vacant land at 803 Matchett Street into four lots.  The area will have a combined total of 1.004 acres.

On the consent agenda, preliminary and final plat requests from Brannon Industrial Group were approved for the PMB subdivision, combining two existing unplatted tracts of land at 1555 Highway 36 North and 1150 Dixie Road to create additional space for Premier Metal Buyers operation.  The 16.9 acres of land include just under a tenth of an acre for right-of-way dedication for future expansion of Dixie Road.
