BELLVILLE MAN ARRESTED ON MULTIPLE CHARGES

  

A Bellville man was arrested Sunday on multiple charges.

Brenham Police report that Sunday night at 8:25, Officer Marburger conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 1600 block of South Day Street. The driver, Tanner B. McCarthy, 25 of Bellville, was found to have an active warrant for his arrest. A firearm and marijuana were also located inside the vehicle. McCarthy was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail where he was booked in for the warrant for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon issued out of the 21^St District Court Washington County, Possession of Marijuana greater than 2 oz, and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon.
