THREE PEOPLE ARRESTED ON ALCOHOL CHARGES
Three people were arrested over the weekend in separate instances on Alcohol charges.
Brenham Police report that Friday afternoon at 4:00, Officers were dispatched to a trespassing call located in the 200 block of Highway 290 West. The store manager reported customers were suspected of shoplifting inside the store. Officers located the customers and discovered Maricruz Casas, 20 of Brenham, to be intoxicated and in possession of an alcoholic beverage. She was placed under arrest for public intoxication and minor in possession of alcohol and transported to the Washington County Jail.
Then Friday night at 9:45, Officer Crosby conducted a traffic stop in the area of Blinn Blvd and Old Mill Creek on a vehicle for an equipment violation. Investigation revealed that the driver, Latashia D. Morgan, 46 of Brenham, was driving under the influence of alcohol. Morgan was placed in custody for Driving While Intoxicated and was transported to the Washington County Jail.
Then early Saturday morning at 1:25, Corporal Perez conducted a traffic stop in the 2600 block of Highway 36 South. Investigation revealed the driver, Ruben J. Aguilar, 23 of Brenham, was intoxicated. Aguilar was placed in custody for Driving While Intoxicated and transported to the Washington County Jail.
