TWO PEOPLE ARRESTED ON MARIJUANA CHARGES

  

Two people were arrested Thursday in separate incidences on marijuana charges.

Brenham Police report that Thursday afternoon at 12:45, Officer Jacob Faske conducted a traffic stop in the 1820 block of 290 East on a vehicle for a traffic violation. A probable cause search was conducted and marijuana was located. Driver, Brandon Jay Cottingham, 27 of Houston, was taken into custody and booked for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz.

Then Thursday night at 10:05, Officer Myles Masters conducted a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Prairie Lea Street. Marijuana was located in the vehicle during a probable cause search. The driver, Francisco Eusebio Torres, 35 of Brenham, was placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz.
