TWO ARRESTED AFTER ALTERCATION

Warrant arrests were made on two subjects Friday that were involved in a physical altercation.

Brenham Police report that Friday morning at 10:50, Officers were dispatched to the area of East Academy and North Market Streets in reference to a disturbance. Initial investigation revealed Meagan Danielle Todd, 25 of Washington, and Oscar Griffin III, 37 of Washington, were involved in a physical altercation and both have outstanding warrants. Todd was placed under arrest for Assault Family Violence, and two warrants were served, Theft of Property and Forgery Financial Instrument, both issued out of Washington County Court of Law. Griffin was placed under arrest for Assault on a Pregnant Person and the active warrant issued out of Pardons and Parole.
Pregnancy is gender specific. There’s no such thing as a pregnant person as only women can become pregnant.
That is the way the law reads.
