SPRING WOMAN ARRESTED ON MULTIPLE CHARGES

  

The Office of County Attorney has removed the charge of Resisting Arrest/Search or Transport. The charge of Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. still stands.

A Spring woman was arrested Friday on multiple charges.

Brenham Police report that Friday evening at 7:10 Officer Bruno conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of Highway 290 West for a moving violation. Officers made contact with the driver and smelled an odor of burnt marijuana emitting from the vehicle. The driver refused to exit the vehicle and resisted a probable cause search. Shaina Destiny Dawkins, 28 of Spring, was removed from the vehicle and placed into custody for Resisting Arrest/Search or Transport. Narcotics were located inside the vehicle during the probable cause search. Dawkins was additionally charged with Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz.
