TWO PEOPLE ARRESTED FOR SHOPLIFTING

  

Brenham Police responded to two instances of shoplifting over the weekend.

Brenham Police report that Saturday evening 6:25, Officers responded to a business located in the 200 block of Highway 290 West in reference to a theft. Initial investigation revealed Joseph Lee Perrin III, 42 of Somerville, failed to pay for items totaling over $180.  Perrin was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail being charged with Theft of Property

Then Sunday evening at 8:15, Officers responded to a business in the 200 block of Highway 290 West in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, Officers located the suspect and detained her while they conducted an investigation. Investigation revealed the suspect, Johna Renaeh Hernandez, 17 of Prairie View, shoplifted numerous items. Hernandez was placed unto custody and transported to the Washington County Jail where she was booked in for Theft of Property between $100 and $750.
