TWO PEOPLE ARRESTED SATURDAY

  

Two people were arrested Saturday afternoon by Brenham Police.

They report that Saturday afternoon at 2:10, Sergeant Terrence Johnson initiated and conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of Highway 290 West for a moving violation. Narcotics were located in the vehicle during a probable cause search.  The driver, Joseph Hugh Hastings, 21 of San Antonio, was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. The front-seat passenger, Jealyn Shuantrell Neal, 19 of Caldwell, was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
