APPRECIATION RECEPTION WEDNESDAY FOR MILTON TATE
The City of Brenham will honor Milton Tate on Wednesday for his nearly 20 years of service as the city’s mayor.
An appreciation reception will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Morriss Hall at The Barnhill Center. Residents are welcome to attend the reception to visit with Tate and wish him well.
Tate, who has been Brenham’s mayor since September 2003, decided not to seek another term in office.
The seat will be filled by Atwood Kenjura, who was elected on May 6th and will be sworn in during the city council’s meeting on Thursday.
