TWO PEOPLE ARRESTED WEDNESDAY

  

Two people were arrested Wednesday on outstanding warrants.

Brenham Police report that Wednesday night at 10:35, Officer Ashley Rodriguez and Corporal Armando Guerra conducted a traffic stop on a silver Cadillac passenger car for failing to stop at a stop sign near the 1200 block of South Austin Street. The driver, Daphne Nickerson, 39 of Brenham, was placed under arrest for active warrants out of Washington County for; Two for Speeding and Operation of vehicle with an expired plate.

Then Wednesday night at 11:05, Officer Myles Masters conducted a traffic stop in the 1500 block of Highway 36 North. The driver, Derek Jamal Rivers, 31 of Katy, was placed under arrest for active warrants out of Washington County; Fail to ID Fugitive From Justice, Assault Causes Bodily Injury, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Controlled Substance.
