BRENHAM PLANNING & ZONING TO MEET MONDAY

One item is up for consideration at the Brenham Planning & Zoning Commission’s next meeting on Monday.

Commissioners will consider approving a residential replat request from Victory Family Fellowship of Brenham and Megan and Trevor Bain for 2.761 acres of land at 130 and 154 Lounge Road.

The property has a single-family home on one tract, with the other tract being vacant.  The church is in the planning stages of developing the vacant tract for a new church site and is in the process of purchasing a portion of the other tract to allow more space for drainage and parking.

The replat would reflect the new property lines after the sale, creates two tracts being 1.231 acres and 1.53 acres, and dedicates a 15-foot public utility easement.

City staff recommends approval of the request.

The commission will meet Monday at 5:15 p.m. at Brenham City Hall.
