BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED AFTER DISTURBANCE

A Brenham man was arrested Saturday after a disturbance.
Brenham Police report that Saturday afternoon at 1:45, Officers responded to the 800 block of Highway 290 East in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, Officers initial investigation revealed the victim’s ex-boyfriend, Treston Dennitric Gibson, 28 of Brenham, assaulted her and interfered with her emergency request for assistance. Gibson was taken into custody for Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member and Interfering with an Emergency Request for Assistance. Gibson was transported to the Washington County Sheriff’s office where he was booked in.
