WASHINGTON CO. DAIRY DAY SET FOR JUNE 3

  

4-H and FFA members from around the area will learn more about dairy cattle next weekend at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service’s annual “Dairy Day” in Brenham.

“Dairy Day” will be held on Saturday, June 3rd in Barn #3 at the Washington County Expo.  Check-in begins at 8 a.m., with the show starting at 9 a.m.

Judging awards will be presented for Old Timer Jackpot Showmanship, PeeWee Showmanship, Junior and Senior Champions, Grand Champion and a Supreme Champion.

The entry fee is $10 per head and must be paid by Wednesday, May 31st.  A late fee will be added for any entries turned in after May 31st

Entry forms can be submitted online at https://washington.agrilife.org/dairyday.  They can also be emailed to Kara Matheney at kjmatheney@ag.tamu.edu or sent via mail to the Washington County Extension Service – Dairy Committee, 1305 East Blue Bell Road, Brenham, TX 77833.

KWHI will have a live broadcast from “Dairy Day” starting at 10 a.m. on AM 1280, FM 101.7 and kwhi.com.
