Krystal I agree. I have known Minnie a long time and when she had family alive and or close by, she was able to maintain her dignity and act appropriately. Her actions are more a sign of please help me rather than criminal activity. She has also suffered some trauma in her life. She is more deserving of help and prayers instead of jail.
How is it that the authorities can’t see the cry for mental HELP?!! JAIL isn’t the place…
This breaks my heart, instead of someone helping this woman she goes to jail. She is obviously mentally handicapped and just needs compassion but instead she is lied about and harassed ! There goes my faith in humanity.
You are correct Lauren someone needs to help Minnie.
Finally! This lady walks down our street all the time going up to peoples doors, taking to herself, she recently has been making threats that she is going to shoot me and my family (5 year old son had to witness this). She needs help.
Agree
Pitiful. She needs help. Not jail.
Shoot you with what? I think you’re overreacting. She is only a harm to herself.

Quinton, I know her and see her often. She appeared at my workplace recently, with only socks on her feet. It was my pleasure to provide her with a pair of new shoes, and she was very grateful. She does indeed have violent tendencies, though, and minimizing Lauren’s concerns over her family’s welfare seems like a cheap shot. She can indeed be a threat to others, as I have witnessed on my own. To be fair, Minnie is a very sweet person, and she and I get along just fine. Most of the time, she is easy to talk to, but there are those other times. Yes, she needs help, but she often refuses the help offered. I believe we should all be kind to everyone, but that doesn’t mean we should intentionally ignore obvious and documented threatening behaviors.
