KATY MAN ARRESTED FOR DWI

A Katy man was arrested for DWI Sunday night
Brenham Police report that Sunday near midnight. Officers responded to the 2100 block of the Highway 290 East frontage road in reference to a welfare concern. Officers located the vehicle stopped in the roadway with the driver asleep at the wheel. The driver, Demetrius Bernard Cross, 56 of Katy, was found to be intoxicated. Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered and due to his performance, he was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated, 2nd Offense.
