TWO PEOPLE ARRESTED AFTER TRAFFIC STOPS

  

Two people were arrested this weekend in separate incidences after a traffic stops.

Brenham Police report that Saturday morning at 10:25, Officers responded to a reckless driver complaint due to a vehicle swerving and failing to maintain a single lane. The vehicle was located and a traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of Weaver Street and Duprie Street. The driver, Heather Abrams Raezs, 49 of Taylor, was operating a motor vehicle during a period her driver license was under suspension. Raezs was placed into custody for Driving While License Invalid – Enhanced and transported to the Washington County Jail.  

Then early Sunday morning at 2:35, Officer Crystal Buckner and Officer Ashley Rodriguez conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Scott Court. The driver, Andrea Shamon Harris, 36 of Chappell Hill, was discovered to be operating a vehicle with a registration sticker registered to a different vehicle. Harris was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail and booked in for Wrong, Fictitious, Altered, or Obscured Insignia.
