TWO WOMEN ARRESTED TUESDAY AFTERNOON

  

Two women were arrested Tuesday on multiple charges.

Brenham Police report that Tuesday afternoon at 2:50, Officers responded to the 200 block of Highway 290 West in reference to shoplifting. The vehicle driven by the suspect was located and a traffic stop was initiated in the 3800 block of Highway 36 North. Initial investigation revealed a theft took place and the occupants of the vehicle were in possession of stolen property and narcotics. Carrie Neile Craig, 54 of Brenham, was placed into custody for Theft of Property and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Theresa Ford Fletcher, 61 of Somerville, was placed into custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
