BRENHAM ISD TAKING DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI NOMINATIONS
Brenham ISD has opened nominations for the 2023 class of distinguished alumni.
Each fall, Brenham ISD honors outstanding graduates during a celebration luncheon, recognizing their accomplishments and the history and success of local schools.
Last year’s honorees were Mayme Dennis Gardner, Clarence Gerke, Ben Seeker and the late Gus Mutscher.
Nomination forms can be obtained online at www.brenhamisd.net. They can be filled out digitally or submitted in person to the Brenham ISD Administration Office.
Forms are due by Thursday, June 15th.
Any nominations received after the deadline will not be considered for this year’s awards, but will be kept on file for five years.
The distinguished alumni selection committee will focus its consideration on alumni who have demonstrated leadership and service, with personal and professional success being an additional factor.
Nominee qualities should include active participation in community, state or national activities; evidence of lasting contribution to an organization, business or society in general; proven leadership ability; and distinction in personal life.
