Shortly after 9:15 a.m., members of the Brenham, Meyersville and Prairie Hill Fire Departments were dispatched to a crash with entrapment in the 6400 block of FM 50.

According to Prairie Hill VFD Deputy Chief Doug Zwiener, a 2003 Ford truck was traveling southbound when it struck a guardrail on the east side of the road, skidded across and struck a tree.  According to Zwiener, the truck then spun around, hit a fence and another tree and flipped, landing right side up.

Both occupants had to be extricated from the vehicle and transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan.  Zwiener said one patient was flown due to a severe head wound, while the other was taken by ambulance.  Both patients were expected to survive.
