PARKS AND RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD MEETING

  

The City of Brenham Parks and Recreation Advisory Board has their next meeting coming up on Wednesday.

The Advisory Board is scheduled to have a work session where they will hear a presentation regarding a proposed new location for a Disc Golf Course at the Brenham Family Park.

The board then meets in regular session.  One of the topics is going to be a memorandum of agreement between Blinn College and the City of Brenham for use of the soccer fields at Hohlt Park. 

Since their program began in 2019, the Blinn Men’s and Women’s Soccer Teams have been using Rankin Field for their home games.

They will also discuss funding requests from the Brenham Community Development Corporation for various parks and recreation projects for the 2023-2024 fiscal year.

The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board meets Wednesday at noon in the second floor conference room at Brenham City Hall.
