TWO ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT

  

Two people were arrested over the weekend in separate incidences for assault.

Brenham Police report that early Saturday morning at 4:55, Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of East Stone Street in reference to a disturbance. Initial investigation revealed Amy Sue Lochiel, 53 of Brenham, assaulted her spouse by causing physical contact in an offensive manner. Mrs. Lochiel was placed in custody for Assault Family Violence and transported to the Washington County Jail. Update @ 4:15 p.m. 6/20: The charge against Lochiel has been dismissed by the prosecutor, according to City of Brenham Municipal Court.

Then early Monday morning at 1:45, Officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of Becker Drive in reference to a disturbance. Initial investigation revealed Billy Jack Zapata-Gomez, 31 of Brenham, assaulted his spouse causing bodily injury. Zapata-Gomez was taken into custody for Assault Causes Bodily Injury to a Family Member and transported to the Washington County Jail.
