FORMER HEMPSTEAD STANDOUT NAMED OC AT RUDDER

According to the Bryan Eagle, former Hempstead Bobcat standout Terrence Tolliver has been hired as the new offensive coordinator at Bryan Rudder High School.

As a senior, Tolliver was ranked by ESPN.com as the number one wide receiver in the nation.

After graduating from Hempstead High School in 2007, Tolliver went on to play college ball for LSU where he was part of the 2008 National Championship Team.

He finished his college playing days in 2011 with three touchdown game against Texas A&M in the 2011 Cotton Bowl.  

Tolliver moved on to the NFL where he had brief stints with the Houston Texans, the Detroit Lions, the San Diego Chargers, and the Chicago Bears. He also played with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League.

After injuries cut his playing career short, he turned to coaching.
