VINYL RADIO TO PLAY AT THE BARNHILL CENTER FRIDAY
Some of the greatest rock ‘n roll hits of the 1970s, before the music industry went digital, will fill The Barnhill Center in downtown Brenham tomorrow (Friday) night.
Vinyl Radio, voted Nashville’s “Best Local Band”, takes The Barnhill Center stage at 7 p.m. The 4-piece band covers songs from artists such as The Eagles, Rod Stewart, Kenny Loggins, Queen, Steve Miller, Paul McCartney and The Doobie Brothers.
The Barnhill Center producer Sharon Brass says the show is “a fun surprise” and that “from the first song, the whole audience knows every word and everyone is singing along.” She says the group is “a blast of energy and vocal power, with a righteous regard for the great classics they perform.”
Vinyl Radio is made up of four Nashville studio session players, each with their own accolades in the music industry.
Vocalist Ronnie Kimball has shared the stage with many superstars, and he is in high demand for Nashville recording sessions.
Bill Worrell is an internationally touring guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer who was part of the 70’s classic Rock group, America.
Ron Wallace has one of Music Row’s most recognizable and sought-after voices, earning him a spot on the A-List of Nashville session singers.
Drummer Tim Buppert has sung on over 8,000 records, including albums by Trisha Yearwood, Billy Ray Cyrus and Rodney Atkins, as well as numerous commercial jingles.
Seats for Vinyl Radio are still available starting at $50 at https://thebarnhillcenter.com.
