SEVEN PEOPLE SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT
Seven people pled guilty and were sentenced in District Court this week by Judge Carson Campbell.
Carlos Matute-Midence, 29 of Houston, was sentenced to 3 years in prison for Fraudulent Use or Possession of Identifying Information between 10 and 50 items and Theft of Mail greater than 30 addresses.
Kennith Clint Mooring, 60 of Bryan, was sentenced to Two years in state jail for Theft of Property less than $2500 with 2 or More Previous Convictions. He was also ordered to pay $740 in restitution.
Matthew Aaron Sain, 23 of Cypress, had his probation adjudicated and sentenced to 9 months in state jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Theft of a Firearm. He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine.
Billy Dalton Hyman, 28 of Chappell Hill, was sentenced to 8 years deferred adjudication probation for Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon. He was also ordered to pay a $1000 fine, perform 200 hours of community service, and have no contact with the victim. He was also convicted of Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member and was given time served in the Washington County Jail.
Mikelle Jaylen Mason, 21 of Harker Heights, was sentenced to 5 years deferred adjudicated probation for Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon in Prohibited Places. He was also ordered to perform 150 hours of community service.
Juan Alberto Freire Diaz, 39 of Pflugerville, was sentenced to 4 years deferred adjudication probation for Fraudulent Possession or Use of a Credit or Debit Card between 5 and 10 items. He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 100 hours of community service.
John Wylee Tyler Edenfield, 25 of Brenham, was sentenced to 2 years deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 100 hours of community service.
