ONE ARRESTED AFTER TRAFFIC STOP

  

One person was arrested Friday after a traffic stop.

Brenham Police report that Friday afternoon at 1:30, Officer Ashley Rodriguez initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 200 block of Highway 290 West. The driver, Dontevia Tishel Gentry, 28 of Houston, was discovered to have an active warrant for Possession of Marijuana out of Brazoria County. Officers also located marijuana in the vehicle after concluding a probable cause search. Gentry was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. and transported to the Washington County Jail where the outstanding warrant was served.
