MAJOR BOYS SECTION 1 FINAL THIS (SATURDAY) AFTERNOON

The Washington County Major Boys will take part in the Section 1 Tournament Finals this (Saturday) afternoon in Bryan.

Washington County will face either Lufkin or Northwest (score from Friday night not reported).

First pitch is scheduled for 3pm at the Travis Little League Fields. KWHI will have live coverage beginning with the pregame at 2:35pm on 1280AM, 101.7FM, and KWHI.com.

If Washington County wins, they are the tournament champions. If Washington County loses, they will play one more winner take all game 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.

The Major Boys are trying to become the third Washington County team to make the State Tournament. The 11 Year Old Boys clinched on Thursday night, while the Minor Girls clinched Friday night.
