BELLVILLE FFA ALUMNI HOSTING CLAY SHOOT
The Bellville FFA Alumni are hosting their 16th Annual Sporting Clays Tournament.
The tournament is going to be held on Friday, August 4, at the 7IL Ranch, which is located at 5389 Mill Creek Road in Cat Spring.
They will have three flights with the first one beginning at 7:30am, followed by another at 11am, and the last one at 2:30pm. Registration is one hour before shoot time, and there is also a mandatory safety meeting thirty minutes before shoot time.
The entry fee is $600 per 4-person team, or $150 for individual shooters. Individuals will be placed on a team.
Shooters will have to provide their own ammunition. Number 7 ½, 8, and 9 shot only.
Awards go to the Top Team, and the High Point Male and Female. The awards will be handed out after the final flight.
There is also a $25 fee if you want to go for food, fun, and fellowship.

They are also selling tickets to a prize drawing. Prizes include three heifers, two shotguns, and multiples gift cards.
According to Bellville FFA Alumni President Roy Martin, last year’s tournament raised $69,000 in scholarships to 22 graduating Seniors and provide monetary support to the Bellville FFA Chapter.
Since the Alumni Clay Shoot began in 2008, they have awarded over $695,000 in scholarships to Bellville FFA students.
