THREE PEOPLE ARRESTED SATURDAY

  

Three people were arrested Saturday in separate incidents by Brenham Police.

They report that Saturday morning at 8:45, Sergeant Jimmy Ha initiated a traffic stop near the 500 block of Highway 290 East. A vape pen containing THC Oil was found in the vehicle during a search. The passenger, Angelica Moesha Wakefield, 27 of Houston, was taken into custody for Possession Controlled Substance and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then Saturday morning at 11:35, Officer Le’Darion Jenkins and Corporal Armando Guerra initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle near the 1700 block of Highway 290 East.  Marijuana and a handgun were found in the vehicle during a search. The driver, Christopher Johnson, 35 of Killeen, was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. and Unlawful Carrying a Weapon, and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then Saturday night at 9:30, Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Highway 290 East in reference to a disturbance in progress. Initial investigation revealed Antoine Damarcus Penn, 36 of Houston, assaulted his spouse and was taken into custody for Assault Causes Bodily Injury to Family Member and Interfering with Emergency Request for Assistance. He was transported and booked into the Washington County Jail.
