BRENHAM’S ESCHETE LEAVING LOUISIANA FOR A&M
Texas A&M Head Softball Coach Trisha Ford announced the signing of Louisiana transfer and Brenham native Kramer Eschete earlier this (Thursday) afternoon.
Eschete helped to lead the Ragin' Cajuns to a regional final appearance in 2022, and they also made the super regionals in 2023.
As a freshman at Louisiana, Eschete played in 51 games, and started 32 of them. She finished fifth on the team with a .352 batting average and sixth on the team with a .439 on base-percentage.
Last season as a sophmore, her playing time was cut back to only 10 starts in 58 games played.
Eschete had a huge season in 2021 as a senior for the Brenham Cubettes, where she had a .585 batting average, a .628 on base percentage, 52 runs scored, 24 RBIs, 14 doubles, and 10 triples.
Honors that year included: National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American, Texas Girls Coaches Association All State First Team, Texas Sports Writers Association All State First Team, All South Central Region First Team, All Brazos Valley First Team, and District 19-5A Offensive MVP.
Eschete was a four year starter for the Cubettes. She is the daughter of Roan and Kaci Eschete.
