THREE PEOPLE ARRESTED FRIDAY MORNING

  

Three people were arrested Friday morning in separate incidents after traffic stops.

Brenham Police report that Friday morning at 6:35, Officer Lauren Vieceli and Corporal Buckner initiated a traffic stop in the 1800 block in 290 West. The driver, Paz Y Martinez, 53 of Hockley, was discovered to have two active warrants. Martinez was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail for warrants of No Driver’s License and Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility.  

Then Friday morning at 9:30, Sergeant Jimmy Ha initiated a traffic stop near the 2220 block of Highway 290 East. Marijuana and a Vape Pen containing THC Oil were found during a search of the vehicle.  The driver, Christian Sanchez Rodriguez, 29 of Houston, was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Then Friday morning at 9:55, Officer Myles Masters initiated a traffic stop near the 2200 block of Highway 290 East. A Vape Pen containing THC Oil and a handgun were found during a search of the vehicle. The driver, Alexander Mata, 19 of Taylor, was placed under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Carrying Weapon.  He was transported to the Washington County Jail.
