TWO MEN ARRESTED AFTER TRAFFIC STOP

  

Two men were arrested Tuesday after a traffic stop.

Brenham Police report that Tuesday afternoon at 2:30, Corporal Armando Guerra initiated a traffic stop on a passenger car for traffic violations near the 800 block of Highway 290 East. Marijuana and a large sum of U.S. Currency were located in the vehicle during a search. The driver, Jerry Demetrius Garrett, 32 of Tampa, FL, and passenger Armond Bernard Willis, 32 of Tampa, FL, were placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. and Money Laundering between $2,500 and $30,000.
