WASHINGTON CO. LADIES LIONS CLUB NAMES 2022-23 AWARD WINNERS

The Washington County Ladies Lions Club on Monday revealed the winners of its annual awards.

Judy Hulsey was named the 2022-23 Lion of the Year.  Lyssa Zettel was honored as the Rookie of the Year.

Hulsey and Zettel were presented with commemorative Lions statues by last year’s respective Lion of the Year and Rookie of the Year, Thresia Schlabach and Linda Kocian.

The two awards are given to contributing members who demonstrate outstanding service.

The club also recognized 17 members with pins reflecting perfect attendance for the past year.  They are DeDe Eastveld, Sherry Fritz, Ann Gaskamp, Barbara Hemmer, Judy Hulsey, Connie Kendall, Enid Kocian, Linda Kocian, Peggy Kramer, Sherry Kruger, Pat Lueckemeyer, Charlotte Mulligan, Linda Oberhoff, Cindy Schaper, Thresia Schlabach, Bette Tofel and Sheila Webb.
