ONE PERSON ARRESTED EARLY THURSDAY

  

One person was arrested Thursday after being in a park after hours.

Brenham Police report that early Thursday morning at 4:00, Officer Lauren Vieceli and Officer Eric Crosby located a vehicle in Hohlt Park after park hours. Drug paraphernalia was located inside the vehicle during a search. Melanie Cegielski, 28 of College Station, and Christopher Rios, 32 of Brenham, were found to be in possession of the drug paraphernalia. Rios was also discovered to have an active warrant for his arrest for Simple Assault. Cegielski was released with a citation for Possession Drug Paraphernalia, and Rios was placed under arrest for the warrant and Possession Drug Paraphernalia.
