Members of the Friendship Quilt Guild of Brenham presented a quilt on Tuesday to the Brenham Fire Department.
The quilt presentation is part of the Fireman’s Fiesta fundraising event taking place August 11th and 12th at the Fireman’s Training Center. The fundraiser will include live and silent auctions, along with a drawing.
Money raised from the Fireman’s Fiesta goes to support the Brenham Fire Department, with past events helping to fund the purchase of new equipment, firefighter training and upgrades to the Fireman’s Training Center.
The Friendship Quilt Guild meets the third Thursday of every month at 10 a.m. at 2800 Victory Lane in Brenham.
